Hi, it’s me, Taylor Henry.

Taylor Henry is a Kentucky-born singer-songwriter whose music blends timeless songwriting with smooth vocals and distinctive guitar work. His musical journey began after a chance meeting with James Taylor during his One Man Band tour. Inspired, Taylor taught himself to play his unique style of guitar while absorbing classics by artists such as James Taylor, Jackson Browne, The Eagles, and Jim Croce—artists whose influence is evident across his easy-listening, adult contemporary sound.

A subsequent run-in with Charlie Daniels while visiting Nashville helped set the course for a move to Music City. There he connected with established figures including Linda Davis and veteran songwriter Curly Putman. Putman became an important songwriting mentor, and Taylor soon found himself writing on Music Row for other artists as well as for his own projects.

Throughout his career, Taylor has shared stages and studio time with a wide range of celebrated artists and songwriters, performing alongside The Charlie Daniels Band, Marshall Tucker Band, The Allman Brothers Band, Blake Shelton, Joe Nichols, The Grascals, and numerous other hitmakers from across the globe; these collaborations have allowed him to blend diverse musical influences, refine his craft in live and recording settings, and build a reputation as a versatile performer who brings authentic, high-quality musicianship to every project.

For nearly two decades Taylor has honed a signature style that ranges from 1950s standards to contemporary songs, showcased through his unique guitar approach and smooth, inviting voice. He was a regular performer at Nashville mainstays such as The Bluebird Café and The Listening Room and has toured nationally and internationally. Today he balances life as a touring artist with a focus on writing and recording at home, favoring small, intimate venues where he can share both songs and the stories behind them.
